It’s Official, We’re Moving!

Mile High Academy is making a move.  The new location, just nine miles south of the current location, is in the Highlands Ranch community.  After 65 years in its current Denver location, MHA is excited to explore the South Denver area, taking over the existing property at 1733 Dad Clark Dr, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126.

One hundred years of excellence have made this move possible.  Steady school growth and ever increasing academic standards require updated facilities to provide students with every opportunity.  Mile High Academy will continue to emphasize quality education within a Christ-centered environment.  At the same time, it will offer its students, parents and faculty a newer facility that will take Mile High Academy into the next hundred years.

According to Principal Toakase Vunileva, “What an exciting time to watch God move.  Every step of the way, I have watched God open doors for the future and the continued growth of excellence at MHA.  We read stories about miracles that are both past and present and we may think to ourselves, ‘That’s amazing but it’s never happened to me’.  When we celebrate the opening of our new school it will be because God saw fit to make it happen and we were tools in the process.  What a testimony to the faithfulness of our great God! “

The future of Mile High Academy has been a vision in the making since 2008.  From planning to prayer to the hard work and determination of leaders, board members and parents, this is an opportunity that has long been anticipated.

The building includes a variety of exciting features such as bigger classrooms, a whole wing for the Upper School, a dedicated arts and music area and play spaces for all ages.  This newer facility is an answer to prayers.  Now that it is a reality, Mile High Academy looks forward to seeing what God has planned for the future.

MHA Students Care

Our students were back at ACS Community LIFT helping put together Thanksgiving food packages.  Community Service days are important here at MHA.  They are a good time to teach hard work and sharing.  It’s also a good time to learn thankfulness and caring.  Especially as we approach the holidays it’s important to give back, and Students and Faculty alike worked really hard to learn what Thanksgiving is really all about.

What a great group we have here at MHA.  We know that by their smiles and their dedication.  It’s more than just Math and Science that is learned in our halls.  We also make sure our students are prepared to go out into the world and share God’s love.

Blessings to you and your family this Thanksgiving!
