Financial Policies

Financial Agreement

Parents who enroll their students in Mile High Academy have entered into a contractual agreement with the school and are expected to live up to their commitments.

Monthly balances, or other approved financial agreements, must be kept current.

Students whose accounts are past 60 days late will be placed on financial account hold and will not be allowed to report to class.

Monthly balances for preschool students must be paid no later than the due date, or the student will be suspended until payment is made.

Any and all transcript or non-medical information requests will be held until account is settled.

Students with account balances that have not been settled will not be allowed to register for the following school year.

Students in grades 6-12 whose financial obligations are not current will not be allowed to take semester exams.

Early Withdrawal

Students who withdraw during the school year must pay all of their outstanding accounts and receive financial clearance from the finance office on their withdrawal forms. Any partial attendance for a month will be considered a full month’s tuition charge.

Textbooks

The school entrance fee covers textbook rental for students in grades PS-8. Classroom teachers will distribute textbooks to each student. For grades 6-8, a $75.00 fine will be charged for each non-returnable book. Grades 9-12 textbooks are available at the academy bookstore at a cost of approximately $100-$300 per year. Textbooks may be sold back to the school at the end of the school year. The school reserves the right to refuse books when a supply maximum has been reached, a textbook has become obsolete, the condition of the textbook is deemed irreparable, or for any other reason.
