Meet Second Grade Teacher – Ms. Roxanne Faber
We love that our teachers create personal connections with students and their families. One way they do this is through communications they send out. When we have a new teacher at MHA, we think it’s best to hear directly from them about who they are and what they look forward to doing during the year. Here is a personal letter from second grade teacher Roxanne Faber introducing herself to you.
My name is Roxanne Faber and I am so excited to be the new 2nd grade teacher here at Mile High Academy. This is my 6th year teaching elementary school and I’ve spent the last 15 years working in Summer Camp programs. I was born in Orlando, FL as the oldest of three siblings. After living at different places in the East Coast I’m very excited to have moved to the mountains!
Some of my hobbies include reading, cooking, playing sports, and I love to travel! I spent a year as a student missionary teaching English to 3rd and 4th graders in Honduras where I experienced God in the most profound way. My passion in life is working with kids and above all showing them the love of Jesus by teaching them the importance of having a personal relationship with Him.
I can’t wait to meet your children this year!
