At Mile High Academy (MHA), student safety and community well-being are our top priorities. To ensure efficient pickup and drop-off processes and organized parking during school events, we strictly enforce the policy that MHA property is designated for these purposes. By following this policy, we aim to manage traffic and parking in a safe and effective manner for the benefit of our students and the community.
PRESCHOOL DROP-OFF & PICK-UP PROCEDURES
- Students should not arrive on campus before 7:15 am.
- Preschool families should use the left lane and park in the designated preschool parking lot.
- All preschool students must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or authorized person who will sign them in and out with the preschool director or aide.
- If arriving before 8:00 am, preschool students must be walked into before care supervision to sign in.
LOWER & MIDDLE SCHOOL DROP-OFF PROCEDURES
- Students should not arrive on campus before 7:15 am.
- Students arriving between 7:15 am and 7:45 am will go to Before School Care (BSC).
- Students may enter their classrooms starting at 7:45 am.
- If walking to school, please use the designated crosswalk on Dad Clark and utilize the sidewalks.
- If driving, line up single file in the right lane and have students exit the car on the right side.
- If parking, use the left lane and proceed directly to the parking lot.
ENTER THE BUILDINGS
- Lower School: K-2 students may go directly to their outside classroom doors.
- Lower School: Grades 3-5 will enter the building through the main entrance and proceed to their classrooms.
- Middle School: Enter the building through the breezeway and proceed to the homeroom. Drivers must ensure all students reach the sidewalk safely before pulling forward.
- Upper School: Enter the building using the gym entrance and proceed to the first class.
PICK-UP PROCEDURES
- Drivers should enter the south/east entrance and begin lining up along the right lane.
- Parents may not enter the line until 2:45 pm.
- If parking, drivers should use the left lane and proceed directly to the parking lot.
- If parents, guardians, or authorized persons arrive after 3:15 pm, their student(s) will have been taken to After School Care.

Not only the students changed my aspect about school, but the teachers have changed me too. The MHA teachers are very creative about how they teach so that students have fun while learning.
