Middle Schoolers, this is for YOU! Open to grades 4–8, no school affiliation required. Teams can be from churches, Pathfinders, homeschool groups, youth groups, or just a group of friends. Build your team — up to 10 members per team — and join the fun.
In partnership with FIRST Robotics, Adventist Robotics, the Mid-America Union Conference, the Rocky Mountain Conference, and Mile High Academy, this event challenges students to design, build, and program robots for hands-on challenges, not only building STEM skills but also learning teamwork, and creativity in a friendly competition.
Don’t have a coach? No problem! You don’t need to be a robotics expert, just someone with passion, commitment, and a willingness to follow a manual. Together with Adventist Robotics, we can help guide you through the process.

While the experience is rewarding, there is a cost involved. Expenses for supplies, materials, and planning vary by team.
Estimated Costs per Team:
• Spike Prime Kit (one-time purchase): $557
(recommend purchasing at least one kit per team)
• Challenge Set (each year): $95
• Team Registration (each year): $275
• Build Your Own Table: $200
• Banner: $150
• Team Apparel: $25 (per person)
Travel, food, and lodging vary. Contact us for help planning based on your group’s size and needs. One to two teams may be invited to compete in Florida this spring. Estimated cost is $1,000 per person, depending on flights.
